Jaylene and Robbie’s wedding was a blast! They did my very favorite thing, they started everything EARLY This gave me the opportunity to get everything captured before the sunset!
They had plenty of time before and after the ceremony for portraits, enjoyed the cocktail hour with their guests and shared their first dance just before sunset, the lighting was so beautiful. Their details were very unique and their wedding party were such sports, they even had a mini dance party as the steel pan players performed at Camana Bay!

Ariana & Duane – Public Beach Early Morning Wedding

Ariana and Duane wanted an early morning wedding, the earliest I’ve ever photographed a wedding in fact. They did their first look outside their hotel and we went straight to a quiet beach along Seven Mile Beach for the wedding ceremony. We encountered about 19 raindrops during the first kiss and an awesome rainbow appeared for a few minutes, just enough time for a group photo with their guests. After the ceremony the couple and I headed to a variety of locations and ended in Sound Sound at a traditional Camanian house Duane envisioned would be a nice backdrop, and it was!

Judy & Dave – The Reef Resort

Judy and Dave shared their vows just steps from the sea on the East End of Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands at the Reef Resort. Family tossed mini beach balls towards them as they walked back up the aisle. They had so many funs details incorporated into their day like an AMAZING cake topper, the ‘&’ sign and bright pops of color everywhere. They had such a blast and they were tons of fun!

Iryna & Schalkie – Eloping at the Reef Resort

Iryna & Schalkie work on a cruise line sailing the high seas year-round. Of all the beautiful places to port and hold their wedding they chose the Cayman Islands. That sure speaks highly of our little Island! They stayed at the Reef Resort on the East End of Grand Cayman, such a great little getaway for them. It was just the two of them, so in LOVE.

They had their ceremony on the sands of the Reef Resort and then we were off to a few little spots along the East End. It’s always fun photographing a couple eloping!

Alex & Mark – Rum Point Wedding

Alex & Mark are a “Minnesota Nice” couple with a ton of charm and a fantastic family. They held a very laid back wedding at Rum Point, located on the North Side of Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. This was the first time I’ve photographed a wedding ceremony on this amazing dock. It was very important to the couple to be married on the edge of the dock with the brightest, bluest Sea surrounding them. I suggested a bit of an earlier ceremony time to ensure they got exactly what they wanted and it turned out absolutely beautiful. With the earlier ceremony time this gave us a bunch of time for their family photos and the wedding party joined them at a couple near by locations for some fun shots and I ended my time with them as they watched the sunset with their guests and enjoyed a couple cocktails.

Ashley & Greg – Cayman Castle Wedding

I had the pleasure to meet Ashley and Greg about seven months before their wedding as they were here in the Cayman Islands scouting out venues and talking with their vendors. I took them around to a few awesome locations for their engagement photos. This is something that I definitely recommend. It’s a great change for the couple and I to get a feel for each other and really get to know each other. I get the sense that the couple are more relaxed about the photography process on the wedding day if we’ve already had a photo shoot.

The Wedding Day!
The wedding was at the Cayman Castle in the East End District of Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands. The backdrop of the wedding ceremony was stunning, bright blue waters, lush greenery and the architecture of the Cayman Castle made for a very unique setting. After a few cocktails on the beach the guests made their way to the back patio of the Castle for dinner and dancing under the stars.

Diane & Brian – Savannah Wedding

Diane & Brian were married at Elmsie Church in Grand Cayman and headed to a few private spots for photos after the ceremony and ended the evening with a beautiful reception at a private home in Savannah.

They also did a first look (which I always highly recommend) and it was one of the most picturesque I’ve had the pleasure to capture. Diane’s bridesmaids escorted her to see Brian for the first time and their reaction towards each other was so beautiful. They were overjoyed to say the least.

We followed the first look with a few portraits in the garden and when Brian pulled out his vintage car, I was very excited! Such an awesome backdrop, we had tons of fun getting some creative images.

Priscilla & Richard – Tiki Beach Wedding

Priscilla and Richard had possibly the most personal touches I’ve ever seen at a Cayman Islands wedding! Priscilla designed a spectacular concept that literlly transformed Tiki Beach located in the heart of Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman. The hints of yellow and gray throughout had equal parts modern, sheik and rustic. The elements flowed so naturally across the entire venue from the ceremony site, the table decor and even their photo booth.

You know you’re at a Caymanian’s wedding when there is a self serve Swanky lemonade station (so AWESOME)! Guests were encouraged to grab a glass and reuse it throughout the night for their traditional Caymanian drink. If you’re unfamiliar with this delicious beverage, you must have a try sometime. It consists of brown sugar, lemon, lime and orange juices with a dash of honey and rum (what else?)

Rebecca and her team at Parfait Weddings & Events assisted with the coordination on the wedding day and it went off without a hitch. Priscilla & Richard, their wedding party and guests had a lovely dinner under the stars and got the party started soon after.

Kim & Alex – Elmslie & Grand Old House Wedding

Kim and Alex’s wedding was such a treat to photograph. The details were so well thought out and came together beautifully. The wedding ceremony was held at one of Grand Cayman’s Historic churches, Elmslie, located in the heart of Georgetown.

Parfait Weddings & Events designed and planned the wedding. The details spread all the way from the Elmslie Church to Grand Old House for the reception featuring so many little touches like luggage seats with custom tags and a vintage photo booth with a polaroid camera with a space for guests to hang their self portraits. The setting sun was stunning just as the guests arrived, the entire venue was glowing!

Kim and Alex had such a fun wedding party, we took them to Dark Park in South Sound for a few portraits before arriving to the reception and the rest of the night was a blast filled with dining and dancing.
